Accura Healthcare Newton Iowa

This project was a major remodel and renovation of an existing Newton, Iowa assisted living facility to expand the memory care offerings of the building. The basic layout remained largely intact while adding additional resident rooms and providing a much needed facelift and freshening of finishes. Unique touches increase accessibility and add amenities shown to improve outcomes among long-term memory care residents. The central living area is transformed from a basic dining room to a lively “town square” with images and features familiar to residents. Additional improvements include entry and flow modifications along with staff support and conference spaces.
